Advancing Innovation Through Partnership

Membership in the ITOG Corporate Leadership Council (CLC) creates a structured forum for collaboration between industry and ITOG leadership—advancing our mission to catalyze a cure for thyroid cancer.

Medical Experts Meeting

Membership in the ITOG Corporate Leadership Council (CLC) provides a unique opportunity to strengthen communication and collaboration among industry partners and ITOG leadership, in direct support of our mission: “Catalyzing a Cure for Thyroid Cancer.”

Founded in 2003 by patient advocates and leading thyroid cancer experts, ITOG was created to address the urgent needs of patients facing complex diagnoses and limited treatment options. The founding vision was to build a “Dream Team” of world-renowned physicians and scientists across institutions and specialties, working collaboratively to accelerate progress and improve outcomes for patients.

Today, that vision continues through ITOG’s global network of physician-oncologists, endocrinologists, surgeons, pathologists, clinical trialists, and translational and basic science researchers dedicated to advancing thyroid cancer research and care.

A Platform for Meaningful Scientific Exchange

The ITOG CLC is designed not as a traditional sponsorship model, but as a platform for structured, bidirectional scientific engagement. Through the CLC, members gain:

Direct engagement with investigators leading ITOG clinical trials

Insight into emerging scientific concepts and feasibility discussions

Visibility into translational and correlative research initiatives

Perspective on real-world clinical challenges shaping the field

CLC participation fosters transparent dialogue between industry and academic leadership, enabling alignment around innovation, trial development, patient accrual, and educational priorities.

Impact of ITOG Philanthropic Investment

ITOG strategically invests philanthropic support to fund and facilitate:

  • Clinical trials
  • Correlative and translational studies
  • Training the next generation of thyroid cancer specialists
  • Thyroid cancer registries
  • Educational programming
  • Development of advanced multidisciplinary fellowship opportunities

These initiatives collectively advance therapeutic innovation and expand access to cutting-edge care.
